Hi Amideus
Well my Variant is a 2002, TDI, 130PD, Gloss Black, it has a R32 Look rear bumper/fender from SRS-TEC.DE
The front bumper is smoothed with a reiger valance, but i hoping change it soon for a R32 front
Its on Jamex coilvers and standard steel wheels, until i can afford some R reps
Cheers Dave

Are those tail lights modded or do you have fog lights on?

In Finland its illegal to have two foglights. Someone might think that you´re braking....
Still, new Audi´s have two foglights, and the other one can´t be removed....

Nice plans Dave....
I remember i have seen a picture of R32- replica Variant somewhere, maybe at vwvortex?.
Lester has got very reasonable priced R-line replica sideskirts:
http://www.lester.it/uk/catalogo_articolo.asp?id=2820 , made in ABS- plastic
Finnish retail price 190€ /pair ! So no need to go fiberglass parts.
(By the way, for the finnish readers: those Lester parts are also available from Slamit...)
I´m a deep fan of subtle tuning, and creating a fictional model, which VW could have produced is a good idea. Just put the orginal front grill back.

No sorry, i did'nt explain myself very well
The top and bottom parts of the lense are stop/light lights, the lower OE tail light is now the fog and the indicator, remains the same !
I've also modified the rear lights by tinting the lense's, to resemble the stock GTI hatchback version !!
Small vid here:
Light mod

I think so ??
Not had any problems with the law as yet
Do you guys have to keep all the certificate's, for each modification you do, like in germany ??
Also quick picture update

Nice looking car... Too bad your steering wheel is on the wrong side
And yes I think in Finland we have to have those certificates of all the modifications you have done to your car. If you want to play safe that is...
You don't know when you might need those papers... Don't if those certificates are required by law...

A bit OT here
They have wrong picture there, that's from Passat 3B/G... There are some others too like Golf Variants spoiler pic. G4 variant should have rear side windows? Not in the picture anyway.

Nice.
Changing the steelies away makes a big difference. Now the R- Line skirts and the bumper.
By the way, here´s a G4 Vari with Mk5 R32 wheels, not bad either:

That Variant with new R32 wheels looks pretty damn good! Although almost every 19's look quite deacent on IV Variant.
